About The Event
On Thursday, April 16, 2026, FJI will honor one person with the Roderick N. Petrey Public Service Award. The award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated distinctive support for public and social justice in Florida. Past recipients include TerryAnn S. Howell and Rod Petrey, FJI’s founder and first board chair.
The Randall C. Berg, Jr. Social Justice Award will be given to an organization demonstrating distinctive support for public and social justice in Florida. Past recipients include Florida Cares Charity and LEAP (Ladies Empowerment in Action Program), which assists women who have experienced incarceration through transformational opportunities and advocacy.
